Selb Bavaria Heinrich Company Bone China
The Heinrich and Company facility was located in Selb, Germany, an area well known for the production of fine bone china and porcelain.
Franz Heinrich established this factory in 1896. The exact mark shown on these plates was used from 1911 to 1934. The company, which continues to operate under the name Heinrich Porzellan, became a subsidiary of Villeroy and Boch in 1979.
The Soup Bowls are a pristine white bone china, with the focal point being the banding at the rim. Alternating with an oval and geometric design, are black panels. Set in the black panels are lovely flowers done in blue and pink accented with green foliage. This larger banding is topped with a narrow deep gold band.
The Heinrich Soup Bowls are hallmarked in green with H and Co., Selb, Bavaria, Heinrich and Co.
These beautiful antique Heinrich Soup Bowls measure 7-1/2 inches in diameter and they stand 1-3/8 inches in height
Each of the six available Heinrich Soup Bowls has no chips, cracks, crazing or yellowing. The graphics are crisp, the colors vibrant. They are in Excellent condition.
