Franz Heinrich established this factory in 1896. The exact mark shown on these plates was used from 1911 to 1934. The company, which continues to operate under the name Heinrich Porzellan, became a subsidiary of Villeroy and Boch in 1979.
Vintage From Paul is delighted to offer this stunning antique hand painted Heinrich Bavaria Golden Vineyard Celery Tray & Salt Dips. The set includes one celery tray and five (5) individual salt dips.
The white porcelain is handpainted with a pale yellow wash against which red grapes and green foliage is set. The handles of the celery tray as well as the rims are trimmed in gleaming 24 carat gold.
The Heinrich Bavaria Golden Vineyard Celery Tray & Salt Dips are hallmarked in green with a crown and "H & G, Bavaria".
These Golden Vineyard Celery Tray measures 9-7/8 inches in length, 4-1/2 inches in width, 1-1/4 inches in depth. The individual salt dips measure 3-1/8 inches in diameter.
