Vintage From Paul is pleased to offer this stunning Heisey Orchid Etch Handled Sandwich Plate Serving Platter.

One of the most popular patterns Heisey Glass Co. ever produced, Heisey Rose was manufactured between 1949 and 1957, when the company closed. Waverly is often used for a number of Heisey's cuttings and etchings, including Rose and Orchid.

A.H.Heisey & Company of Newark, Ohio, first introduced the "Orchid" etched pattern in 1940 and it continued in production until the Heisey Company closed in 1957. During this time the "Orchid" pattern became Heisey's most popular etching.

This lovely round sandwich plate with handles is etched on Heisey Blank #1401 known as Empress. The plate measures 12 inches across the center and 14-1/4 inches from handle-to-handle. There is a distinct "H" diamond mark in the center of the plate.

The Heisey Orchid Etch Handled Sandwich Plate Serving Platter is in mint condition. The piece has been lovingly cared for and gently used.

A beautiful and graceful pattern for all ages.
