Vintage From Paul is pleased to offer this vintage Homer Laughlin Brittany Sylvan Oval Serving Platter. Sylvan is listed as pattern number 1399.

The Homer Laughlin Brittany tableware patterns, including Sylvan, were produced from 1936 to the 195's. The date code on this particular platter indicates that it was manufactured in August of 1955.

Sylvan has a creamy white body decorated near the rim with the deepest of green flowing leaves, and berries on a vine, banded at the top with a scalloped (semi-circle) design.

The platter is in Mint condition. The colors are vibrant, the graphics crisp.

The underside of the platter is marked with: "Homer Laughlin, Made in the U.S.A.,H55N6".

The platter measures 11-7/8 inches in length, 9-1/2 inches in width.
