These vintage individual teapots were made in the USA by the Onondaga Pottery Company. It is made of heavy restaurant grade china in the Doric shape and glazed in a pale beige tan

According to Reed & Skoczen's book, "Syracuse China;" the Doric pattern was introduced in their 1937 catalog. The Doric shape was an accessory line of mostly cast, one-fired ware, that consisted of tea and coffee pots, creamers, sugars, and ashtrays.

The body of the Vintage OPCo Syracuse China  Doric Tan Individual Tea Pots are a solid light tan....identical in color to the Syracuse Adobe pieces we also have in stock.
